A lie

Of course Evleth. Somebody, somewhere is 'lying' and conspiring to
make healthcare in your beloved Fwance look bad while they want to
make the Germans look good. LOL!

Health Statistics Transplants Lung (most recent) by country

# * * * *1 * * * *Germany: * * *174 lung transplants

# * * * *13 * * * France: * * * 7 lung transplants

CITATION

"Transplants Lung by country", Abstracted from center-specific
counts (Worldwide Transplant Center Directory, 2002).

This should be a hint to you, Evleth, that the French chose to
rationalize and ration lung transplants but you continue to ignore it:

"Survival benefit of lung transplantation for patients with
idiopathic
pulmonary fibrosis

Groussard, MDc, Olivier Brugière, MDa, Rolana Marrash-Chahla, MDa,

Lesèche, MDb, Michel Fournier, MDa

b Service de Chirurgie Thoracique et Vasculaire, Clichy, France
c Service d’Anatomopathologie, Hôpital Beaujon, Clichy, France
Received for publication July 22, 2002. Received for publication July
22, 2002; revisions received August 22, 2002; revisions received
November 22, 2002; accepted for publication December 4, 2002.

Réanimation, Hôpital Beaujon, 100 avenue du Général Leclerc, 92110,
Clichy, France

OBJECTIVE: Although lung transplantation is viewed as an acceptable
option for patients with end-stage idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, the
survival benefit of this approach is still debated...."

Of course statistics establish that the Germans have been more able
and willing to spend more per capita on healthcare than the French,
Evleth.
