Cheap Motel on I-5 Between LA and San Francisco

Drive up from LA to San Francisco this Friday night and want a cheap
motel room to stay in the between.
Any suggestions welcome.

Depends on how far you are driving on Friday. There are Motel 6's at
several small towns along the way. Look at motel6.com.

Get one of those coupon books at Denny's or a gas station en route and
take your pick. You can get a decent place that way and aren't as
limited to budget motels.

There are plenty of cheap ones along I-5. Motel 6 do exists. There are
also plenty non-name brand ones that are potentially even less than Motel 6.

But it only takes 6 hours to drive that. Can't you drive it all the way
without stopping? I do it all the time.

There are several motels in Buttonwillow around $30.
