No Paul. They did shoot one croc which was such a shame. They found no sign
of the guy inside the croc - what a waste huh? Anyway, they did find a thigh bone last week, said it was human, still doing tests to confirm it was the man (lets hope so or someone else has been taken there LOL) Sorry if I sound a bit flippant but do what they were doing in croc land and you run the risk. I am for NOT culling crocs, I am for people being in control of the outcome of being in croc country and not being careful. "Paul Horder" wrote in message ... I was told years ago that most croc attacks involve three things; humans, an esky, lots of beer. Put those 3 together and crocs seem to have an inate sense of when to restock the larder. I've read somewhere that crocs dont eat their kill straight away, they tuck them under a tree root to "mature" and have a snack on after a busy day in the billabong. |

I think that "inate sense" stems from having a chemical enhanced human swimming out to meet them. Chances are they hung their clothes on the "Warning: esturine crocodiles" sign before taking the plunge. I've read somewhere that crocs dont eat their kill straight away, they tuck them under a tree root to "mature" and have a snack on after a busy day in the billabong. Don't tell that to a croc expert. It's the very first myth to be loudly debunked at any wildlife park. |

Hi,
just us wrote: risk. I am for NOT culling crocs, I am for people being in control of the outcome of being in croc country and not being careful. Haven't followed that one. What happened? Do you have a URL, maybe? Couldn't find it on the SMH. Cheers, Ralph -- For contact details, please see www.ralphholz.de. |
