Air France - Smoking?
Does anyone know if it's true that you can still smoke on Air France?
My DH says he will only fly Air France and no other airlines in future if he finds this to be true, as he hates flying without a smoke and becomes incredibly difficult. I've suggested patches/gum etc but he's not interested. I smoke too, but it doesn't bother me that you can't smoke in planes- in fact I prefer it, I remember when I flew to Australia and you were allowed to smoke then, and some tosser lit a cigar up which stank out the whole plane. Air France - Smoking?

I thought cigars had always been a "no-no" on commercial aircraft, even when they allowed cigarettes in the last few rows. Similarly, pipes are much more tolerable to me than cigarettes, and for the same reasons. I used to enjoy the smell of a pipe, but NOT as "captive audience" on an airplane! Both pipes and cigars are far too pungent and penetrating for the non-smoker to endure on long journeys in enclosed spaces. (I don't like cigarette smoke, either, but it's a bit easier to ignore.) |

They are pungent, but not nearly as irritating or migraine-producing as cigarette odors. -- Transpose mxsmanic and gmail to reach me by e-mail. |
