Stopover Ques (Add.Fee?)

Hi,
I would like to go to NYC to Taipei via JAL ( or other airline) and on the
return trip, stay in Tokyo for a few days. Is there an additional fee I
would I have to pay on my airline ticket if I want to stay in Tokyo for a
few days?

On expensive tickets, you can often break the trip at no extra charge,
on cheap tickets you usually can't.

Is there some reason you prefer to ask people here to speculate rather
than calling JAL and getting the correct answer? In the US, their

It will depend on the fare basis. I would check with JAL (or any other
carrier).
