Hi Icono,

I was there a few days ago and must say that Hwy 1 is quite spectacular.
Unfortulantely, the fog didn't let us enjoy all the views but maybe in
December there's no fog (ask the locals).

Most California coastal fog occurs in the summer months, roughly
late April through early October.

Dave Hatunen's comment is correct. But, of course, then it's likely
to rain.

If you're going to San Francisco and it's your first time, please reserve at
least 3 or 4 days. I was there only for 2.5 days and now I see it's too
short. Next time I'll say longer.

Ay, pobrecito. You didn't look at the "Don't Miss Sights" page at the
site at Right in the sig.

PS: I'll do it again when I write the trip report, but I would like to thank
all the comments you guys posted to the list when I ask for tips when I was
planning my trip. The tips were extremely valuable and we followed many of
them. Thank you, indeed.

That's why we're here, Xavier.

I'm sure I'm not the only who appreciates that paragraph. The norm
here is people drop in, get answers to their questions, and are never
seen again. Thanks are rare. Thank you for your courtesy.

Then there's that word most. I remember their closing LAX one new years
because of fog.
