Irish Islands

could someone suggest an island off the coast
of Ireland, where there would be a B&B, maybe
a nice restaurant ... not Achill or Aran.. thanks.

Clare, just off the Mayo coast (you get the ferry from Roonagh, just south
of Louisburgh). It has a hotel, which has a restaurant (not the best, but
the food is edible, and the breakfast is wonderful), or you can stay in the
hostel and have breakfast in the hotel. There is also a campsite right on
the beach (yeah, I know the OP wanted a B&B, but someone else might possibly
be reading this, too!)The island, which is small, has one of Grace
O'Malley's 'castles' (more of a tower house, really), spectacular views and
scenery, great fishing and walking, and a twice-daily (more in summer) ferry
service.
