Default Airport Sydney to downtown at night

My flight arrives at night, how can I reach downtown at night time?
Are taxis the only option?
Thanks for your help!

No - there are shuttles serving hotels, and the airport has two train
stations, one for domestic terminals and the other international. See
http://www.sydneyairport.com.au/SACL...es/default.htm

If you're travelling with some-one, you are often better getting a taxi
downtown, as it is only about 10 km ride, and train fares to and from the
airport stations have a hefty surcharge.

There is the airport shuttle bus that runs until all flights arrive,
see their web site:
http://www.kst.com.au/

They deliver to all major hotels in the city, and will drop you off at
the closest one if it is a property they don't service.

I agree. The rail system is unreliable and awkward. You still have to get to
your hotel once you have reached central station.
Taxis are expensive.
Shuttles are the way to go....................
