Cultural Tour-003
Yangon -Pyay -Bagan -Mandalay -Yangon

Day 1 - Yangon
In the morning, arrive at Yangon International Airport and welcomed by our
tour guide, and transfer to hotel. After a short rest at hotel, lunch at
restaurant.

Yangon city tour highlight includes Kaba Aye Pagoda, world peace pagoda and
Shwedagon Pagoda, the world largest and most famous golden massive stupa.

Dinner at restaurant and overnight stay at hotel in Yangon.

Day 2 - Yangon -Pyay
Breakfast at hotel and drive to Pyay. On the way to Pyay, visit Shwedaung to
see the most peculiar Buddha Image with a pair of golden spectacles.

Upon arrival in Pyay, transfer and check-in hotel. After a short rest at
hotel, excursion to Shwesandaw Pagoda and Sehtatgyi Pagoda.

Dinner at restaurant and overnight stay at hotel in Pyay.

Day 3 - Pyay- Srikhettra -Salay -Bagan
.. Morning departure to Bagan via Srikhettra and Salay. Tour highlight
includes Srikhettra, Old Pyu City of 5 A-D with its earliest temples;
Phayagyi, Baw Baw Gyi and Be Be Gyi stupa, Laymyethna, East and West Zaygu
Pagodas and archaeological museum. Visit famous Myathalon Pagoda in Magwe.

.. Tour proceeds to Bagan, travel via Salay to explore ancient edifices; Yote
Son Kyaung Gyi Monastery to observe Konbaung era finest wood carvings and
archaeological museum. Salay U Ponya's Tripitaka Library in Laterite temple,
a marvellous lacquerware made of huge Buddha Image of Konbaung era,
Htihlaing Shin Cave and Bagan era Temples and murals. Upon arrival in Bagan,
check-in hotel and overnight stay at hotel in Bagan.

Day 4 - Bagan

After breakfast, visit Shwezigon Pagoda, the prototype of later Myanmar
stupas and Kyansittha U Min, a tunnel with an interesting feature of
paintings.

Lunch at restaurant. After lunch, visit Soemingyi Okkyaung, Nagayone Temple,
Apeyadana Temple and Wetkyiin Gubyauk Gyi Temple with fine mural paintings
of Jataka scenes.
Enjoy the sunset from Mingalarzedi.

Dinner at restaurant and overnight stay at Bagan.

Day 5 - Bagan
Morning visit to Ananda Temple, the architectural masterpiece, Thatbyinnyu
Temple, the tallest in Bagan and Gawdawpalin Temple.

Lunch at restaurant.After lunch, visit Htilominlo Temple, noted for its
plaster carvings and Tharaba Gate. And then, proceed to Dhamayangyi Temple,
the biggest massive structure with the finest brickwork. Enjoy the sunset at
Shwesandaw Pagoda.

Dinner at restaurant and overnight stay at hotel in Bagan.

Day 6 - Bagan -Mount Popa -Mandalay
After breakfast, drive to Mt. Popa, an extinct volcano with a height of 1520
metres. Excursion to Mt. Popa, home of spirits, provides a scenic view of
the surrounding tropical zone. And then, proceed to Mandalay by car. Lunch
on the way.
In the evening, arrive at Mandalay and check-in hotel.
Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Mandalay.
Day 7 - Mandalay- Mingun -Mandalay
After breakfast, Morning visit to Mingun along the Ayeyawady River by boat.

Visit Mingun Bell, one of the world largest hanging bronze bells and
Myatheindan pagoda.

Lunch at restaurant. And then proceed to Shwe Nandaw Monastery (Golden
Palace Monastery) Atumashi Monastery and Kyauktawgyi Pagoda.

Enjoy the sunset view from Mandalay Hill.

Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Mandalay

Day 8 - Mandalay -(Amarapura -Sagaing)
After breakfast, visit Mahamumi Pagoda, traditionally famous for its
life-like Buddha image, Mahagandayon Monastery, a school for young monks,
visit inside and see the daily living activities of the monks and U Pein
Bridge, the longest teak wood bridge situated across the Taungthaman Lake.

Lunch at restaurant. After lunch, proceed to Sagaing and visit Soon-U
Ponnyashin Pagoda and U-min Thoneze Pagoda. Enjoy the sunset from the
Sagaing Hill.

Dinner at restaurant and overnight stay at hotel in Mandalay.

Day 9 - Mandalay -Yangon
In the morning, transfer to Mandalay Airport to leave for Yangon. Arrive at
Yangon, transfer and check-in hotel. Visit Chaukhtatgyi reclining Buddha
Image.

Lunch at restaurant. After lunch, proceed to Sule Pagoda and Bo Gyoke Aung
San Market.

In the evening, sightseeing downtown and stroll around the Chinatown.

Dinner at restaurant and overnight stay at hotel in Yangon.

Day 10 - Yangon
After breakfast, check-out from hotel and transfer to Yangon International
Airport for departure flight.
