Default Checking on Travel Agencies

Hi:
I am working on setting up a tour of Egypt and would like feedback on
some travel agencies with which I am working: STI, Gate1, Total Travel
Service, and Summit Travel. Anybody with any experience--good or
bad--with any of these travel agencies, I would appreciate hearing
about it.
Thanks

I personly book alot with Gate 1 Travel, and just finished one up last
week with them, I like the service towards a travel agency and prices
arent bad either.

If I'm correct Total Travel Serice is a Travel Agency as so am I, They
use Very good products and use the best Tour Operators in the business
at least I think, and they are operated by Globus and Cosmos, Trafalgar
Tours, and Insight Vacations.

And these Tour operators and the one are backed by USTOA

More Information on USTOA below:

To become an Active Member of USTOA, a tour operator is required to
have a total of 18 references from a variety of industry sources and
financial institutions and must meet specific minimums in terms of tour
passengers and/or dollar volume. The company must also be in business at
least three years under the same management in the U.S. and must carry a
minimum of $1,000,000 professional liability insurance.

Another important membership requirement is adherence to USTOA's strict
code of ethics, which is framed by a pledge to encourage and maintain
the highest standards of professionalism, integrity and service.

In addition to these requirements, all USTOA Active Members must
participate in 'USTOA's $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program'

I hope this helps you.
