There are no passenger ferries to Egypt from anywhere in Europe or North
Africa.

See www.triotours.com/faq/eg/ferries-europe.htm

Israel isn't really dangerous for the visitor if you stay out of the
West Bank and Gaza Strip.

But if you want to avoid Israel, you can still go from Greece to Egypt
overland. Go from Greece through Turkey and Syria to Jordan, and then
take a ferry from Aqaba in Jordan to Cairo.

Yes, it's really true. There are no ferries from anywhere in Europe or North
Africa to Egypt.

Is this really true? Your link tells us that the ferry to Port Said no
longer operates. What about Alexandria?
