Default Boeing 777 runs out of air

On 1/18/2008 8:56 PM Chilly8 ignored two million years of human
evolution to write:

One would think that on any transatlantic flight the tanks will filled
to 100 percent of capacity.

Well, see, that's your problem. You can't think. You're too stupid.

The main thing is that you can test the effects of particular actions
& failures on a simulator that you would not *dare* to do in real

an emergency situation where a wong move in real life would kill you
or cause a lot of damage.

I don't think they use the MS simulator for this.
That is the only one Chilly knows about.

No, they don't, though the later MS simulators are pretty neat toys
that simulate a remarkable range of situations fairly accurately.

They are *very* suitable for learning and training for IFR procedure
holds, arrivals and departures, and can save the PPL pilot who is
undertaking such training quite a bit of money.
