"Lounge Pass" at Venice Marco Polo Airport?
Anybody have any experience with a British Company called Lounge
Pass, which has airport VIP lounges in many international airports? I'm flying US Airways business class out of Venice Marco Polo airport in April. US Airways doesn't have a club there but I see that Lounge Pass does. You pay a fee of around $25 per person and can access it. Just wondering if anybody's had any experience with it. Or if there are any other lounges I might access, even thought I won't be flying their airlines. |

Don't know about Lounge Pass, but have had good experience with Priority Pass (www.prioritypass.com) which likely has a lounge under contract at Venice. |

They do have a lounge at Venice and I just joined. |

Generally, if your airline doesn't have a lounge at a given airport and you're entitled to lounge access (which you would be in J class), there'll be an arrangement with a partner airline (US Airways are a Star Alliance member) or the airport [in Europe, lounges are often operated by the airport or an independent company, rather than the airline]. Have you called US and asked? |

Have you called US and asked? Yes. They said the lounge there (which I believe is run by Alitalia) does not reciprocate with US Air and that my US Airways Club card would not be honored. I joined Priority Pass, which allows me entry into the lounge there, as well as many lounges all over the world. |

While that may be true, I'm very surprised they haven't got an arrangement for business class passengers - regardless of their club status - for lounge access. I joined Priority Pass, which allows me entry into the lounge there, as well as many lounges all over the world. Yup, had it for years - it's good |
