Best time to go...?

Hi,

you always find (weather) information for each country or as question in
newsgroups like "what about xyz in december..."

Does anybody konw a website where one can find monthly - overview -
information about the best time to go to a country or island?

ie December: Patagonia,...
January: ...

any ideas?

One that I know of is http://www.lonelyplanet.com/destinations/

Select a country, then click on the "when to go" link.
Typically they decribe all four seasons and make a recommendation for
what they consider to be the "best" time to go.

There are weather websites that give forecasts and yearly weather histories
for all parts of the world. For instance you may go to my European weather
page, pick one of the cities there at:
http://alohacyberian.home.att.net/wwweather.html - click on the one that
interests you, and from there you may pick other cities on other
continentents and Pacific Islands and view the weather histories of that

I use www.weather.com/intl and find that it has averages for each month of
the year for wherever but don't rely on the forecasts for beyond day 5 'cos
science ain't that good yet.
