Alternatively, stay on the west side of Manhattan and take the D train which
also stops at 161st/Yankee like the #4. Although there is an active
residential community around the stadium, it is not a touristy spot except
right before game time, but the twin subway lines provide quick and reliable
transit between Manhattan (and, further south, Brooklyn) and the Bronx.

I can't, but I also don't know why you'd want to stay so close to
there. Just stay anywhere on the East Side of Manhattan and take the 4
train up. That is, unless you have a problem with going up and down
stairs.

If you would like to send a private email to me, please take out the
TRASH, so to speak. Please do not email me something which you also
posted.

There are no hotels within walking distance. Subway transportation
from midtown east or west would get you to the Stadium in 30 minutes
or less. You might consider staying in midtown.
