Is airport theft on the rise?
How many airports were stolen in Canada last year?

No, the question is: how many airports stole last year.

Toronto Airport would be #1 in terms of stealing from passengers and airlines.
They even got a citation/warning from IATA.

It's the fault of the Bush regime. Right, JF?

Of course. GTAA had made grandiose plans for expansion in the 1990s. It has
dreams of becoming bigger than JFK. But then came the demise of CP shortly
followed by the Bush regime's 9-11 which also caused the demise of Canada
3000. Air Canada, weakened by its stupid hostile takeover of CP ended up
going belly up and downsizing itself.

As a result, GTAA's grandiose plans became a very expensive grandiose white
elephant. And because air traffic had dropped significantly due to the
Bush-regime prolonging the airline downturn, GTAA has had to raise its landing
fees for those few planes still operating, making Toronto on of the most
expensive airportrs in the World.

LHR can be expensive because it is a privileged airport in a privileged
location. But Toronto is just another north american town without anything
special. A "just another city" airport doesn't have the ability to set the
prices, it needs to have low prices to attract traffic.

Westjet is getting predatory. They have negotiated not only a sweet deal with
GTAA, but also taking enough space in the new white elephant terminal that Air
Canada won't be able to fit all its operations into it, which will hurt AC.

No, it was actually the fault of the previous regime, but like the
economy, it is also being blamed on Bush.

Of course.

You should have just stated that upfront, JF.
