how paranoid is Schiphol?
I haven't been to Schiphol in years but will go through it on
my way to Istanbul shortly. Do they have any special paranoias I ought to know about? - i.e. is it going to be like a typical UK airport or more civilized, along the lines of Prague? How do you spend a couple of hours there without getting fleeced? ============== j-c ====== @ ====== purr . demon . co . uk ============== Jack Campin: 11 Third St, Newtongrange EH22 4PU, Scotland | tel 0131 660 4760 http://www.purr.demon.co.uk/jack/ for CD-ROMs and free | fax 0870 0554 975 stuff: Scottish music, food intolerance, & Mac logic fonts | mob 07800 739 557 |

Have a beer and meet somebody new. Throw your money away in the casino. See art from the museums. And I hate to break it to you, but all the EU airports are now adopting the recent UK security restrictions, which is a pain in the neck, but there you go. I noticed this markedly on flights in the last few weeks from Barcelona. The lines are also longer too, unfortunately. I don't know how your return leg will be affected, but you'll return into the problem at Schipol again. How do you spend a couple of hours there without getting fleeced? Reading a book or listening to music is free. -- David Horne- http://www.davidhorne.net usenet (at) davidhorne (dot) co (dot) uk http://www.davidhorne.net/pictures.html http://soundjunction.org |
