Default The Great Barrier Reef attractions

The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park (Townsville, Queensland), is a must-
see place in Australia, for those who like diving. Neither you are
experienced diver or you like fishing, yachting or surfing - you will
find proper water sports attractions you'll like.
Being situated near Cairns with it's international airport, the
Australian Great Barrier Reef is very suitable for international
tourists all over the world.

There are number of spots offering you to rent diving and snorkeling
equipment if you aren't a "coming with own stuff" diver.
If you are non-experienced diver, you'll find all services, including
NAUI & PADI istructors, that will offer you to increase your
experience & get an international diver license. Sure, lotta places
for diving or snorkeling while increasing your scuba skills, full of
beautiful underwater coral landscapes & sea creatures.
Neither diving and snorkeling spots are all over the Great Barrier
Reef - the area between Lizard Island and Lady Elliot - is highly
recommended.

Like boating? You can rent a private yachts or fishing trawlers for a
day trip, as well as small cruising ships. There are variety of reef
destinations & places to visit. Cause of limitation of vessels,
allowed on the water at the time, better book your boat trip.

Be aware of damaging coral reefs, keep in mind that taking coral from
the reef as a souvenir is illegal. Just get in the souvenir shop -
you'll find there everything you need.
