A little less vagueness might help. Moving from where, and for how long? Buying or renting, and type of property wanted. Definitely how much you can afford (prices here have gone stupid). Type of school (primary or junior/senior high school) Sporting or other interests. Any other info. PhilD |

PhilD I apologise for being 'vague' but I really didn't think it was necessary to say where we are moving from or for how long, I was simply after a little advice on which suburbs were nice to live in as we have never been there. We will be renting for a minimum of 12 months and our children will be in primary school. |

Many people from elsewhere don't cope well with the tropics here so it would help knowing more. Depending on where you come from makes quite a difference as to style of house desired. How far do you want to be from beaches, swimming pools shopping centre's, walking distance from school or not. I'm in Palmerston (separate city, not suburb of Darwin), 20km south of Darwin CBD, and have been for 25 years and have a few rental properties here so I do understand our rental possibilities in this area. Let me know if you would prefer a direct email for easier chatting. PhilD |
