We will be in Milan from May 19 through the 30. Anyone have good
suggestions for resturants and or night life? I believe that we are
staying northeast from the center of the city as my nephew is playing
in a tennis tournment in that section of the city. We've been to Italy
a few times, but we've not been this far up as we've mainly stayed in
Florence and traveled down from coast to coast in that area. Thanks for
any suggestions.

You should also try the Spaghetti Milanese....

A nice little restaurant/pub is L'Incoronata at Corso Garibaldi 127. Good
food, reasonable prices and ale from the local micro-brewery Birrificio
Lambrate - easy to miss, 'cos I walked right past it. It's across the street
from the God-box from which it derives its name, Santa Maria Incoronata.

You might also like to try the pub attached to the Lambrate brewery at Via
Adelchi 5, near the Lambrate railway and metro stations -
http://www.birrificiolambrate.com/ Sorry I can't give a direct
recommendation of the pub, since my visits to Milan always seem to coincide
with its summer closure period - Milan hibernates for much of August! - but
the beer's good.

More generally, for cheap, nothing-special-but-alright food, try the Ciao
chain of self-service restaurants.
