Default Cruise countdown.....lol. HAL Maasdam Canada 9/8 Doc Dance, hell,Doc Lambada!!!!

Got my docs today!!! Woo hoo! In fact, got my parents' docs too!
Lol.... Get me outta here! I guess it's about 2+ weeks to go? I
should look at the calendar. Be here any minute. The parental units
are excited (mom has secretly bought quite a number of new outfits
apparently....shhsh don't tell dad!) and I am excited to just be going
with them. We have planned this right, I think, and they are doing
"their thing" in some ports (for example, there is just no way I'm going
on the 4+ hour "Ultimate Anne of Green Gables" tour in Prince Edward
Island) and I am doing mine. They are going around in buses with a
bunch of cranky old folks to see things and eat lobsters and I'm going
kayaking, sailing, and biking. Perfect. Lol. I would say it'll be
nice to get out of the DC heat and humidity but it's cool and rainy all
this week! Anyhow, it's the concept that matters. We are all going up
a day early to Montreal and I still need to plan my rental car in Quebec
City so we can go see "our" island, lol --

Congratulations, Jeff! Haven't heard from you for so long that I thought
you already were on a cruise!
Glad that your Mom and Dad will be joining you on this one...and good for
your Mom buying those new outfits!
Be sure and post all about your island when you return.
Have a wonderful time, all of you!

Jeff,

It has been a long time since I heard from you, hope all has been ok!! I
know all the planning and planning you have done for this cruise with
your parents and I am glad it is finally going to happen.

I think it is an excellant idea for you and your folks to go your own
way at times and then meet up back at the ship.

I am just sorry it didn't work out for you joining us on the Azamara
Journey. We would of been on our good behavior with your parents.lol

Have a wonderful cruise and I hope your parents have a blast!!

Umm ... obviously, you didn't read the fine print. Visitors are not
allowed to leave Prince Edward Island without proof of having attended a
minimum of 1 "lobster feed" daily. Inspectors examine your shirts for
butter stains, your collars for corn silks, and your waistline for
evidence of potato salad consumed. Better find a "paddle-in" wharf, or
"bike-in" church hall, pretty quick!

Bon Voyage Jeff!

For a minute I thought our itineraries would intersect, but my cruise
ends when yours departs. I love doing Canada roundtrip from NYC. It's
a great getaway.

The Explorer 5 night from Bayonne to Bermuda is another nice get away in
late summer/early fall. We're going on Explorer the week of Sept 9. Which
ship are you taking to Canada?
