Default Cruel slaughter of one million sea pups

Do not go to Canada!

I thought Canada was a civilized country.

STOP THE CRUEL SLAUGHTER!

The Canadian Government has already announced plans to
slaughter nearly ONE MILLION seal PUPS over a three-year
period, despite evidence of widespread cruelty and grave threats
to the population.
This is the largest slaughter of marine mammals in the world!
And it will not end unless caring people take action now!

Stop the cruelty:

Bring me ten freshly slaughtered sea pups. You've made me hungry.

Or try posting to a newsgroup that cares. Hint: the usa/canada travel
newsgroup isn't one of them.

You HAVE TO travel to "the Rock" and see what is really happening.
Forget the mass media and PETA stuff. See it for yourself. The sealers
are no different from anyone else working to make a living and to keep
their kids fed - like Mr. and Mrs Joe Blow citizens of the USA or of any
other country.

Go see for yourself. Then report back to us before spouting about your
perceived situation. Oh yes, and you can also tell us all about your
TRAVEL to Newfoundland.

Just a Canadian's reaction. By the way, I eat cows that my brother
raises as a food source- that is how get lots of leafy green
vegetables. Some folks don't like my eating habits, but that is their
business, not mine.

Seal Pups in Newfoundland or Humans in Iraq? Are you in favor of one over
the other? The first balances a food chain while the other keeps an oil
producer in 'The Friends of Bush' control.

It depends. How do the flavors compare?

This whole "seal pup" thing started because Greenpeace, a Canadian
organization,

Hummm....

It had its first offices in Portland and San Francisco and was first
incorporated in the U.S..

that, originally, was rightly fighting for the
preservation of whales and endangered species, was criticized by
whaling nations, Norway, Japan, etc. So they invented a Canadian
issue to show they were not "protecting" Canada. Greenpeace gets no
more support or money from me. For political and self-serving reasons
they sold out their original mandate for "politically correct"
efforts.

The seals are NOT an endangered species and stopping the seal hunt is
a huge financial loss for a large number of people.

Shame on you, Greenpeace!
