Trouble is if you have to keep alert etc then there is something wrong
really

Ah, you live in a carefree world [deleted]

I don't know on what you base your "live" assumption, but with an
UK IP and an US NSP, it probably "lives" somewhere in the middle.

[snip]

Let's act like real people! Any place on the globe is dangerous if you act
like a fool. The first post on this thread was disgging for reaction.

Just a small element of common sense and everyone is safe.

Sadly it is also true that many murders & assaults occur in a domestic
situation & are unlikely to impact on the average tourist.

I beg your pardon!? "Sadly"?

I would much rather people slaughter their own family members than come
after me, a random person walking down the street.

Also, most of the victims of domestic murder are low income earners who
are a burden to society.

*sigh*

Two for one.

Trolls in a thread, that is. What did we do to attract this lot?

'bye.

Cheers, Alan

Watch out for trams running up and down Flinders Lane. If you don't know
they are there, they can take you by surprise. Even the locals forget
about them sometimes.

Only for half a block. They're big and noisy, it's not like you can miss
them.

Tell your low income theory to the Wales-King family.

No, I suppose you are right. It's not like YOU would use the word "sadly" to
describe a low-income earner locking his own kids into a car and gassing
them to death...

hmmm... not a discussion for a tourism newsgroup.

Agreed -but it is not someting that a tourist to the city should
concern themselves with, since it will not affect them.
