Paria Coyote Buttes Reservations Website Down
Due to legal issues involving online security of information related
to Native American trust lands, the government has again had to shut down several web sites, including all BLM sites. Thus, it is not currently possible to use the Internet reservation system for BLM lands, notably, the Paria and Coyote Buttes (The Wave) reservation sites. We all hope that these sites will be back up soon. |

... I was lucky then!!! I received my permits for the wave last week (yes, yes, yes) I've a permit too, for September. Last year I visited the main Utah's Natural Parks (Zion, Bryce, Arches, Canyonlands) plus some other places as the Goblin Valley, the Valley of Gods, Goosenecks SP, Dead horse SP and Muley Point. Is there, in the Coyote Buttes' area, some other amazing "well kept secret" to visit? Since I'll be there in September, I was planning a week to spend in the South-West corner of Utah and I'd specially like to see special places like the Coyote Buttes and Muley Point. Ciao, Giulio |

The whole area is a "well-kept secret." lan on spending a whole day there,
and get out early and stay until dusk. When you're hiking to the wave, the light is nice on the east side of the ridge you walk along. Late morning is best for the wave. Afternoon is best for the second wave, which is located slight beyond and above the first wave. It's an incredible area, for sure. "adjgiulio" wrote in message ... "wendyjol" wrote in message ...
