Default First-timer questions

More first timer questions that I haven't seen posted here yet. For
those where it makes a difference, we'll be on the Norwegian Sun.

1. Is the video zone (arcade) free or does it require tokens or actual
quarters?
2. I understand soap and shampoo are provided in dispensers. How about
hair conditioner? Are any other personal items provided? (basic outside
cabin, not a suite)
3. I understand the pools are drained and closed at night. How about
the hot tubs? Are they open 24 hours?
4. What should a very large person (300 lbs) be aware of - are there
areas of the ship that might not be accessible? Any problems with
tendering?
5. During booking, I was asked what state I'm in. Why does that matter?
Which states get lower fares?
6. What drinks are provided for free? Water, tea, and coffee, but not
soda - how about milk or juice?

Thanks in advance for any replies!

weight is not a problem in tendering so much as your ability to step from
one slightly moving platform onto another

Whichever states have a current promotion. There is no set answer.

Milk and juices are usually available in the lido restaurant (buffet area)
of every ship.

Not free. Don't know the tokens vs. quarters question, thought, but whichever,
they will have available for you to get on the ship.

No and No.

3. I understand the pools are drained and closed at night. How about
the hot tubs? Are they open 24 hours?

Not generally. The outdoor ones are closed in the evening, if there is an
indoor one, it may be open until 11:00.

During meals milk, juice at breakfast, lemonade.

24 hours what you state above. Iced Tea, also.
Thanks in advance for any replies!
