Crimexpossouthafrica.co.za is a sensationalist webiste with a
political agenda. It is not in their interest to report that the vast
majority of tourists to South Africa hava a fantastic, safe time.

There is an unacceptably high crime rate in the country, but it is
nowhere as hellish as Neil Watson would have us believe.

It was very safe and easy to travel in and around. My mother and I
toured much of the Western Cape without incident. Stay out of the
townships unless you have a guide.
