You must get to actually see those perfect days you get once or twice a winter. What's magic about the view, is that it's constantly changing, as the tides shift and the rain/snow/mist plays around on the hills. I like the caption "the aptly named Forcan ridge! Ian had quite a way with words. |

Hillary is again proposing universal healthcare right now. good! Meaningless really. First, she would have to get elected which seems pretty dubious at this stage and second, she has no power to legislate anything, She would have to get Congress to do that and it didn't work very well the last time she tried. |

Well, be amused and then tell me the error of this analysis if you can. That's just your xenophobic interpretation, btw. It applies to every country and its currency equally. There is nothing unique to the US about it. Ah, but there is. The US is far more patriotic than the UK. You wont find Union flags outside private houses here. If you said "God bless the UK" you would be carted off to see the shrink. Certainly not true in Scaninavia where you see more flags than you do here. So it's hardly just a US phenomena. Do the Scandinavians sell proud-US-kit-like for $19.99 as well? I have no idea how they sell their flags. |

wrote: Following up to (John Kulp) wrote: perhaps we have a different idea of what dumb means Apparently, but tell me what was intelligent about this decision then. I think it was the end of a process, with various considerations, at which the wrong conclusion was probably reached, I dont characterise that sort of process as dumb. Just mistaken. Sounds completely dumb to me. What possible problem could they have with someone trying to treat themselves with their own money other than some loss of power. I have had exactly the same kind of situation here with the VA and they roundly encouraged me to do it. Saved them money. |

As long as being sensitive to some of these issues does not mean having them dictated to you. using hange for change has been the silliest. Some type bothers you? Or do you have some other issue with him? |
