Air travel effects on environment?
I recall reading that air travel is more harmful to the environment
than travelling the same distance by car. This seems hard to believe. I travel a lot by train since it is cheaper and supposedely the most environment friendly? What are your thoughts? Should I feel guilty each time I step on a plane? Are airlines doing anything to lower their 'carbon footprint'?
