Default Website Cruise Pricing

Just curious, I was looking at some cruise prices for the ncl majesty out of
Boston and noticed the smartcruiser.com had prices for the June 27th sailing
for only $236 for an inside cabin but expedia, orbitz, travelocity and
icruise were all still $600+ for the same cabin category and dates. Do some
agencies have a real inside deal to the cruise lines to get lower prices,
how can the prices vary so much between sites ?

Thanks,

Mark

Yes, there is often a variance between online agencies such as you mentioned.
One reason is that some agencies update their databases faster than others.
Another reason is that NCL is notorious for giving Sweetheart deals to some
agencies and not others. Not always the same agencies either which is why you
need to shop around.

It's also important to compare total cost, in this case the add on's are
twice what some others are charging. It's not just the cost of the cruise,
it's the total that matters.
