WANTED: Travellers of all kinds. Free room and board (well, ok...space
for pics and stories and food for thought). Apply within.

WaywardTraveller.org is built around and inspired by the journey of one
man as he backpacks throughout the world over a time period of several
years. It is also an online travel-centered community where travellers
(armchair, backpack or suitcase!) can share stories and experiences
(positive and negative), pictures, and all other topics of interest in a
friendly Forum environment.

The goal is to build a community of people interested in broadening
their horizons and learning about different cultures and countries from
the stories told by other people.

Registration is FREE. Registered members can:

- create online photo albums and upload pictures

- post messages and reply to other members

- browse a Travel Gallery of over 350 annotated pictures taken by the
author (not to mention pics from other Members), including prints
offered for sale.

Visit http://www.waywardtraveller.org/ for more information about me,
including lots of pictures and journal entries. Drop in, register,
read, write, share, think, and enjoy!

Peace.

Nowadays, everyone can tell his own stories at his own website.

Quite true; but not everyone goes to the trouble of creating a website;
not everyone who does so knows how to make a good website; not everyone
who makes a good website ends up with a good community to back it (which
is what I'm trying to do); and not everyone who tells their own stories
knows how or what to write.

I ask people to register as an impetus not only to see eye-candy, but
also to participate in a Forums-based community and, in so doing, add to
the dynamic nature of an environment where people can talk and exchange
ideas. People who register can also create their own galleries.
