If you turn up on the day without a pre-booked ticket for a seat, at
best
you will be fighting for the standing spaces.

Call me anal,

Ian al?

I feel terrible saying that- I mean, the sportsmen are all so honest.
They only lie if they're told to.

I haven't seen any Santander ads recently...

Too busy banking in the low countries.

If you pay me a huge salary, I'll suggest you buy a few of them too...

Any idea why an HSBC tracker mortgage is 4.5% ATM?

Because they care so much about their customers?

Duh I thought it was because they were robbing *******s.

Their ads always say how much being a global company makes them care, so
they must be true. Still, could do worse than being a banker here at the
moment. Not thinking of any other profession in particular...

Call me anal, but I can't for the life of me imagine why anyone would just
turn up to an event like this without having a ticket!

If it was me, I'd have pre-booked months before, confirmed, photocopied the
tickets, and put them in a safe until the day! A slap-dash attitude just
puzzles me, that's all - to my mind, it's just as easy and much less
stressful to have all your ducks in a row.

I find it easier to find F1 completely uninteresting!

I had lunch right after the start and fell asleep on the sofa .. should
have enjoyed the sun instead. Lunch was mozarella with some rocula and
tomatoes with acieto balsamico, finest spanish olive oil and fresh
basil, french bread and just a small glass of sauvignon washed down with
german mineral spring water and Italian espresso to round off.

The language mix in the ingredients probably put you to sleep. Certainly
bored the tits of me.

That's ridiculous price.

Just to stand at one turn of the race to see cars going by?

I can see checking it out for an hour or so but the whole day?

Well I guess you have to be an F1 fan but if you're only seeing one
small section of the track, how do you get a sense of the whole race?

Probably better off watching on TV.

i think so, I think its something to pre book

at most tracks there are screens, I would say if you are an F1 fan you
probably go and see a race after watching for years on TV, there are
people who go to lots but most will be like my neighbour who did
Monaco as a one off treat. It will not matter about following the
race, its seeing it all first hand for once.
