Need info-Sleeper from Glasgow connecting (London) to Chunnel Train to Paris

writes Any tips on how to book this cheapest way possible? Look at http://www.firstgroup.com/scotrail/c...eper/index.php and see if there are any "Bargain Berths" available for the date you're interested in - they're currently taking online bookings up to 17th March, and offer limited numbers of one-way tickets from Scotland to London at £19. £29, £39, or £49 standard class (shared compartment). Early bookers get the cheapest fares, of course. Sleeper APEX fares (limited availability) are £59 one-way to London from Carlisle, Glasgow, or Edinburgh, £69 from Dundee, Aberdeen, Fort William, or Inverness. Standard single fares are £99 from Carlisle / Glasgow / Edinburgh, £122 Dundee / Aberdeen / Ft William / Inverness. First class singles (single-person compartment) are £135 from Carlisle / Glasgow / Edinburgh, and £155 from Dundee / Aberdeen / Ft William / Inverness. If there's several of you travelling together you may be interested in a "Caledonian sleeper family ticket" which is two interconnecting standard class compartments (two berths in each compartment) for £159 from Edinburgh / Glasgow, £190 from Aberdeen / Inverness / Ft William. They also offer all-inclusive sleeper/Underground/Eurostar fares, currently £144 standard class *return* Scotland to Paris, £218 first class. Can't see any one-way fares. -- Arwel Parry http://www.cartref.demon.co.uk/ |
