? Punta Cana - Late October Weather

Hello all,

Taking a trip to Punta Cana this weekend and I see there is a 30%
chance of rain/thunderstorms throughout the weekend. If it rains, can
I expect a wash out, or do the storms blow through in an hour or two,
leaving sunshine behind?

As with most tropical islands in the Caribbean, storms blow in and blow
out. Besides, your forecast is for 30% chance of rain. I wouldn't
worry until the forecast is 50% or higher chance of rain.
