Wow, this sounds like an awesome deal. Viking has received lots of positive
feedback from folks who have gone to China with them. For various reasons, we had to scratch China last summer, and we passed on it this summer in favor of something else. This offer does give me slight second thoughts.... I hope one of our rtc'ers takes advantage of this offer! Thanks, Ray. I always appreciate the updates. Diana Ball near Houston, TX |

In a way I guess I an retired ... I was tired yesterday ... and I'm tired again today ... but that still doesn't allow me the time to take this cruise ... |

This is not a "news" report but simply an ad put out by VRC and posted by a
TA who 'invites' you to visit his website for 'news' stories, not all of which are posted at his website. The last line of the ad also removes a contact for this cruise, namely VRC themselves! Lots of discussion about "news" and "Press Releases" here. Yeah a press release is really nice but not every newspaper article about cruising is worthy and the Press Releases that are nothing but ads or have only interior information such as the quarterly receipts etc are not of interest to the average cruiser. One should also not change the appearance and text to remove the Phone number or website of the people who publish the press release. The lie that the press releases 'he' receives are somehow different than those that everyone else gets just is not true. I get these very same press releases. This one person is simply advertising his business. If you do not believe it ask him to truthfully tell you how much he sends on advertising anywhere else? You may, or may not like the guy but he is still violating the spirit if not the letter of this newsgroup. Jim "Ray Goldenberg" wrote in message ...
