Advice Needed on Bangalore...

Hi folks,

Will be relocating to Bangalore for approx 8 months for a business
assignment. This will be my first time in India. I am scheduled to for a
quick visit in the beginning of September.

Is there anyone who knows Bangalore well?
I am 32, white American who has traveled and lived in Europe and Asia and
can adjust pretty well.

I'd really like to get information on the local scene in Bangalore, what to
do, activities, meeting new friends, etc.
